Read these operating terms alongside the Privacy and Cookies pages. Operator details and jurisdiction still require owner confirmation before launch.
Use books you may lawfully access
Use ReadVeranda with files you own, have permission to use or may lawfully access. Importing a file does not grant copyright, redistribution or other rights. The application is a reading tool, not a source of downloadable commercial books, a DRM-removal service or an ebook converter.
Publisher permissions and document restrictions still apply. Do not attempt to misuse the website, interfere with other visitors or use a support channel to distribute material you are not authorized to share.
Look after your own library
Your library and reading data are held by your browser. Keep original files and independent backups. Clearing site data, switching website addresses, private browsing or storage eviction can make data unavailable. Installing the app does not create an account or synchronize devices.
Before restoring a backup, review its contents and the choices for duplicate books. Do not assume that a backup from an unknown source is safe. Backups and exported notes can contain private information and should be stored accordingly.
Compatibility and availability
EPUB and PDF support depends on the file, its layout, permissions and the browser. Scanned PDFs do not become searchable without OCR, and some EPUB layouts cannot use all appearance or annotation tools. ReadVeranda does not promise access to every document or recovery of deleted browser data.
These practical terms do not invent a governing law, remove mandatory consumer rights or replace the owner’s final legal review. The responsible operator and applicable jurisdiction must be supplied and reviewed before the public service launches.
